Title: importing books from calibre

excuse my newbyness but would someone explain to me how I can export books "in the proper series number" to my nexus 7.....I am using calibre which seems to work ok with my Kobo but mixes up the books in my nexus 7

Are you referring to the order in which the books are shown on your bookshelf?

Yes and also the order they are in in the ebook folder

I have tried the metadata plugboard in calibre but do not know how to write the syntax

I use Calibre Companion for downloads to N7, Nook Tablet, Nook Touch, and my HTC Droid Incredible.  You can control the downloads wirelessly from the device or from the PC (Calibre).

I like to use Mantano Premium as a reader.  Hope this helps.
