What do you get if you take the basic premise of 'Pacman', throw in cool 3d-ish top down perspective graphics and add a hefty dose of humor?  Well you might get 'Critter Escape', a new game from KizStudios.  In 'Critter Escape' you're trapped inside a top secret research facility called 'Welk Tower' and need to escape.  Unfortunately an assorted army of guards barriers and other baddies and obstacles are there to make sure you remain a research specimen.   The gameplay is light-hearted and the graphics are really terrific.  Definitely a cool twist on a classic 'run for the bad guys' game.  Here's a trailer to wet your appetite:

AWESOME FEATURES
• Stealth gameplay and puzzling levels test your brains and reaction speed.
• Adorable central character with fun animations and hilarious comics.
• Crazy, mutating power-ups change the way you play the game.
• Over 120 unique levels to escape from.

Now there are 120 unique levels in 'Critter Escape' and one of the cool and innovative parts of the game has to do with trying to stay 'undetected' while you try and sneak out of the facility.   One you're spotted however all bets are off and the pulse...and pace of the game flies into high gear.  While you can play 'Critter Escape' for free and unlock all the levels there are 'in app purchases' you can make along the way to speed your success in the game.   There's also some small ads that will display but any in-app purchase at all...even a tiny one will make those ads disappear.  I actually just bought some crystals for a buck and the ads went bye bye.  I personally like the 'top-down' perspective of the game and really love the humorous animations that are scattered throughout.   It runs terrific on your Nexus 7 tablet so if you're looking for a fun diversion this weekend try this twist on an old classic and let me know what you think in the comments.  Link below.
