Title: Keyboard lag
Post by: bjs229 on September 19, 2012, 02:41:06 AM
I am having trouble with keys not registering more and more. When it starts to happen the little keyboard icon pops up on the top left task bar asking to choose input method. I use Swift tablet. When you choose like it asks it is already setup the right way. I am getting tired of it happening. I sometimes have to reboot. It seems to pop up mostly when I am typing in the forums.

Have you tried clearing data and cache? Also look at your settings under personalization and try removing any of the learn from sources.

I cleared everything and it is still happening. As soon as I try to post the little keyboard icon shows itself and the kb skips. So annoying. I think I am going to dump Swift and see what happens. Why not would it ask to choose input method if I already have?

I dumped Swift and now my keyboard is not lagging. I have had Swift from the beginning because for whatever reason it is in the have to have category on every site you see for apps. I never made the connection that it could be the keyboard app giving me the lag problems but that seems to be the case right now. I kind of liked some of the things that Swift brought to the table. Split keys and the neon theme.

Liking this SlideIT app so far. The keyboard choose input method icon still comes up when I am posting in a tapatalk thread. I guess it is a bug with the  tapatalk app.
I wish you could split the keyboard though. Can't have everything. No lag so far!
