Asus India has confirmed during a recent press conference held in Bangalore that the Nexus 7 will be available in that country starting in November. Previously October had been mentioned as when Google's new 7 inch tablet wonder would appear in the second most populous nation in the world. One interesting possibility for the delay to November from October is the possible release of a 3G version of the Nexus 7. India is a wifi-challenged (as in not very prevalent) part of the world and it is thought a cellular version of the Android tablet would be welcomed by potential buyers. This would also go along with rumors that Google and Asus are planning to release a 3G version of the N7 in the U.S. and Europe as well sometime before the holidays. Regardless it's nice to see that our friends in India will be joining us in having the #1 Android tablet available before too long.
