Title: Weird YouTube Video Issue
Post by: edjsauce on September 21, 2012, 08:36:49 PM
Hi all, first poster here.

I've had my Nexus 7 since day 1 and it's been perfect so far...until now. In the last couple days I've started having really weird issues with my YouTube app. Whenever I try to play a video, I get the usual ad, chance to skip, etc. But when the actual video loads, it is completely the wrong video. Sometimes it's been what seems to be some sort of advertisement, sometimes it's been a music video or something. Recently it's been some guy rapping in Chinese. One thing to note: The video changes if I change the quality from HD to standard (and force the video to reload). I don't know if this would be a virus, or something...? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling youtube updates, and uninstalling all the most recent apps I've downloaded, just in case, but it hasn't made a difference. I couldn't find this issue anywhere online, so I thought I would check with you guys here and see if anyone knows what might be going on. Thanks for your help!

Haven't had this issue myself but I definitely remember reading on this very forum of somebody else having the similar issues, have a look around the forum and I'll try to find the thread.

Thanks for the link! No solutions I notice. Oh well. I'll have to keep looking I guess.
