Title: Sort of my first tablet.

My first official tablet was a 7" no name that I got for listening to a presentation about a timeshare. What a hunk of garbage!
The missus felt sorry for me so she bought me a Samsung tab 2 7.0 for father's day at Best Buy. I was much happier with that tablet.
Then, about two weeks later the Nexus 7 was announced. I promptly took advantage of the "no restocking fee return policy". Now I am eagerly awaiting my Nexus 7!

Welcome tsruggles!  I think you made a smart choice.  The Nexus 7 is a superior tablet to the Galaxy Tab 2 you owned.   You're gonna be a tablet pro in no time.

tsruggles welcome to the forum. Good choice on the Nexus 7, you should be able to share with your wife, what an intelligent choice you made :)
