**UPDATE:  13 Brand New 25 Cent Apps Today Including Cut The Rope:  Experiments, SketchBook Mobile, Paper Camera and More!  Grab Em While They're Cheap Folks!**

As many of you might have noticed when perusing the Google Play Store today Google has announced the store has officially reached 25 Billion (yes, with a B) downloads.   Now this is quite an impressive feat and to celebrate they're offering a gaggle of useful apps for only 25 cents each.  That's quite a deal, especially for some of the better titles...some of which we recently did spotlights on in this very forum.   Case in point?  Oceans HD Live Wallpaper, Angry Birds Space Premium, Asphalt 7:  Heat and the new hit game Granny Smith, which we just reviewed last week.

Now for those that want to be productive on their tablets and don't want to rely solely on the Google Drive/Google Docs combo when offline I highly recomment OfficeSuite 6 Pro which in addition to being a great way to create, edit and view Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint compatible docs also makes for a great .PDF reader.    There's lots more where these came from so hit the link below and grab em on the cheap while they're all only 25 cents.  We love it when Google celebrates a milestone and WE get the presents!

Thanks BFM. Some bargains on that list! A great way to use the 65 cents I had left on my credit.

At $0.25 for each app, the $25 Google Play credit I got for buying my N7 will go a long way!

There's nothing there I would spend money, I'm quite happy to pay money for quality applications and to support developers. I already bought Draw Something, Asphalt 7: Heat from GP some time ago and I got Office Suite Pro from Amazon Apps for nowt.

Oh and not to mention here in the UK we're paying 25 pence which is around 39¢, although not a huge amount of money why the hell should we pay more???

Um...didn't you just contradict yourself JayJ? LOL.  You said there's nothing on the list that you would pay money for...but you just said you did buy Draw Something, Asphalt 7: Heat and Office Suite Pro. :)   It's not Google's fault you already bought them!

We seem to have 2 threads running about these apps.

Can they be combined?

Babyfacemagee, will probably merge my topic with his, as the Front Page topic takes priority.

Had some complications with the merge of topics so gonna just leave them split for now and locked the other one.  Let's use this front page topic since more people will see it.  Thanks S. Prime.

Yeah, badly written reply mate...what I meant was nothing I'd pay for that I hadn't already. Pedantic today aren't we BFM...;)

I have hd widgets. It's okay I guess if you like the weather and time splashed on your home screen. Kind of redundant if you ask me.

Some people love widgets. I try them and then and up deleting them minutes later. I think it's an OCD thing.

Widgets are part of what makes Android...well...Android.

I am the same, I find them messy and cannot keep them!

I think it's what you do with them that counts,  I have serious phone and tablet OCD but I like widgets. Here's my N7 homescreen,  just the one screen, two widgets and the scrolling dock of Apex Launcher...

A little off topic I know but the discussion arose...
