Title: Trouble playing video from my camera
Post by: JAD82 on September 30, 2012, 12:34:42 PM
I'm new to tablets and have download Nexus Media player. Here's the problems I'm having. I use a Casio Ex Fh-25 for filming my kids sports in HD or high speed video 120 or 240 fps. Ive tried Mx and Bs free apps but when I try to play it back on the Nexus 7 it's choppy or stops the video. It says Avi if that matters at all. Am I doing something wrong here or is there a better free of pay app that I can use? Any help would be appreciated . Thx Larry

In BS player, tap the menu icon (3 dots top right) >Preferences > Playback Preferences > Decoding mode > select Hardware decoding mode. That works for me for AVI playback, also SW decoding will work.

I tried that and its still choppy and converting it to another format isn't a option. I'm filming at bats and pitching during baseball games and taking the sdhc card out of the camera and putting the card into a card reader then plugging that into the nexus 7 so it can be viewed during the game. I will be reusing the card after that during the game and converting the files at a baseball field won't work lol.
