Hi Guys,

I pre-ordered the 8GB version during the I/O Keynote through Google play. Every review and mention of the Nexus 7 makes my heart pound, and I can't wait to get to play with it!

I have owned the Nexus One phone, rooted it and ROMed it several times. But I think I will want to experience the stock Jellybean for sometime before I start playing with my first ever tablet. Can't wait to try out the amazing new OS from Google.

Welcome to the forum bigboss. The N7 will root with the same procedure used on your Nexus One, where you unlock the bootloader and then push superuser and CWM to the device. After making sure my N7 has no hardware issues, I will root it and install superuser and CWM, and I am like you I want to try Jelly Bean for a while, but eventually I will go to a CyanogenMod ROM.
