I am sooo hoping the 32gb version comes out on the 29th.
I bought my Nexus 7 tablet at the local Wal Mart on the 10th and, since they have a 15-day return policy on tablets, I'm returning it tomorrow on the 24th and getting my money back. I then plan on going through Nexus withdrawal for 5 days until I can buy the 32gb.
Like I said, I sure hope that 32gb is on the shelf on the 29th.

I know someone that works at Staples and he told me they have the 32G N7's in stock but can't sell them yet, should be able to sell them after announcement on the 29th.

I had two of them in my hands at Staples. Their system will not allow the sale. Then do not have then on the shelf, but I made them check the back room stock. They said that there is a note in their system advising not to sell under any circumstances until the 29th. I have my two on hold until that date.

thank you I will check that out tomorrow

A few hours after returning my Nexus 7 to wait for the 32gb I went through withdrawal. Bought me a used Samsung Stratosphere for $25 and started downloading a bunch of my stuff. Whew! I was Jonesing for my android worse than I thought I would. This will get me by till I get my 32gb.

FWIW, Monday's Google press event has been canceled because of the hurricane.

Try Office Depot. They sold me a 32gb unit, no questions asked. Kind of surprised me because last night Staples told me they couldn't sell them till Monday. Office Depot is your best bet.

Decided to stay at 16GB and bought my new Nexus 7 for $199 at my local Wal Mart this morning!

My first post.. yayyy!! 8)
Real quickly, a little short of two weeks ago, I got my wife a Nexus 7 16gb for her birthday. In fact, it was a after birthday present. I am glad I did wait a little bit to research which tablet to get, because the waiting kept me in the 14 day return policy, when the Nexus 7 32gb appeared. ;D
So, instead of getting the $50 refund because of the price drop of the 16gb, I returned the 16gb and got a spanking brand new Nexus 7 32gb.. Oh boy!! :D. Now my wife said she wants a service provider so she can get wi fi all the time. In researching which one to get and browsing through Nexus 7 message forums, I see that a Nexus 7 32gb NSPA+ is on the horizon. In fact, November 13th it will be here for $299!!
Well, needless to say, the Nexus 7 32GB will be going back in 13 days, and I will wait the day or two for the NSPA+ version to come out for $299. For the extra $50 my wife will always have service and no monthly fee.. I am loving this!! :D
Sorry for the long first post, I am 72 year old with a young wife!! 8)
ceh, old,dirty, & fast!

You will still have monthly fees for data usage whether it be monthly payment or pre-pay...

Wow, I got a good fast one day big learning curve!! Thanks much.. Yesterday, I was under the impression that the $299 model had its own provider such as Att, etc. And you can have connectivity. But, that is not the case. My wife wants connectivity all the time, so I will have to get her some service.
I did make a good move on catching the 32gb before my return time limit was up on my 16gb Nexus 7. :)
