Title: Should I root my beloved Nexus 7???

Hi there guys it's me Yoshi and I am here to ask you guys a question, should I root my beloved Nexus 7??? And one more thing, what are the benefits of rooting??? I am just 11 years old so I might mess up the root process.Thanks in advance -Yoshi-

I used the root toolkit by wugfresh and it went fine for me the only time consuming and tricky part is getting the drivers on ur pc configured correctly as for benefits I only root my things so I can use an ad blocker and what not but there are truly endless possibilities like custom roms kernels and over clocking

Yoshi, check out the the forum's guide to rooting at the link below, it should answer most of your questions about rooting. I will share that only about 5% of all Android devices are rooted, due mainly to the fear that you expressed, but once you have experienced a rooted Android device it is hard to go back. My Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Slll were rooted within a few hours of arrival. Read the guide throughly and decide if rooting is right for you.

I have two rooted android devices as ive flashed new roms on them.  My nexus 7 I haven't as i use the standard rom with nova launcher.  If you dont have a reason to and are happy with how your device is running then why root for the sake of it?  Have a good think about why you want to root.
