Our forum is very supportive of the Nexus 7, without question, so let's see what the "7 Forum" thinks about the Nexus 10.
-
I doubt there will be any upgrade incentives for current users incentives and don't expect any either.
-
A 10" tablet is too large for my purposes, which is why I bought the N7. I can use my laptop when I need a large screen and don't need portability.
-
I'm in if the build quality is good
-
At 500 bucks I don't have the luxury to own both. Or the need for that matter.
-
Already have my Thinkpad Tablet if I want a 10" tablet, but it hasn't seen much light since I've got my Nexus 7 :p
-
Not for me, I am think about a Nexus 4 though...

Not a need for both, I like the smaller and more portable 7"

I don't expect the Nexus 10 to sell as many units as the Nexus 7...primarily because the Nexus 7 is obviously much less expensive so can fall into 'impulse purchase' territory. I do though think the Nexus 10 will become the top selling 10 inch form factor Android Tablet since it has the best specs in its class. I'm hoping that Google makes a concerted effort to use the Nexus 10 as a technological 'carrot' to induce developers to really optimize their apps for the tablet form factor.
This is really the last piece of the puzzle that must come in place for Android tablets to really 'win' over the iPad long term. It is the primary reason why even though Android phones now have 75% of the smartphone market, that Android tablets have not kept up with that success so far (although a recent study did show 41% of tablets are Android now so they are gaining steam). Once the 'tablet app' gulf is filled I expect Android tablets to have larger market share than the iPad within a year or two.
The tablet world is at an inflection point. I think 5 years from now Android will have 80% of the tablet market and we'll look back and see the introduction of both the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 as the 'turning point' in Google's efforts to fight the tablet war. Now that they have the hardware...they will turn their efforts to continue to build out the ecosystem...meaning tons more content available in the Google Play Store (music, movies, books, apps, etc) and optimizing apps for the tablet form factor.

I've never liked 10" tablets. Too heavy, too big.
-
After what I did today , I don't think I am spending that much on my tablet. I use it way too much and I know now that it is bound to take its licks. Even with a case. I would need a Sherman tank for a case.
-
Personally, I love the 7" size. If I want larger I'll drag out my 'net book' laptop. I'm going the other way in size; that is today I pick up my Nexus 4! 8)

Not for me. I will stick the nexus 7 as its pretty much perfect for me. Didn`t upgrade from s2 to s3 as it just wasn`t worth it to me. S2 runs perfectly on the leaked jellybean rom. Waiting for the s4 to show itz teeth before i do anything...

Sorry but I wouldn't touch another Samsung device, Touchwiz has to be the ugliest Android UI in existence.
Nexus all the way baby...

The Google Nexus 10 made by Samsung doesn't run touchwiz does it?
-
Obviously the Nexus 10 doesn't run Touchwiz, I was referring to jj03's post above mine and his/her reference to the S2, 3 & 4. Just merely sharing my views that Touchwiz is terrible, Samsung make some great hardware but their version of Android spoils their devices. The Nexus 10 is of course exempt...

Touchwiz kept crashing on my S3 with the latest JB update, which was another reason I completed my Nexus family and bought a Nexus 4.
Wouldn't go back to S3 now.

Fair enough. I quite like it. Never had a single problem with across all three of my android devices.

That's the great thing about Android, there's so many choices for everybody's differing tastes.
I loved my S2 when I got it with Gingerbread but just felt once Samsung updated it to ICS that Touchwiz was stuck in Gingerbread flavor UI wise. Plus the constant crashes with ICS hence why Sammy included a Restart option in the power button drop down.
That's why I chose to avoid the S3 and why I decided on a Nexus device as my next phone, don't think I could go back now...

Played with the kindle fire hd, ipad mini, and nexus 7 at various points and read the in`s and out`s hardware and software wise, and i found the ipad to be nice but not worth the money, and the kindle fire`s retard version of android ics is quite honestly, crap. Quite restrictive. Yet i can customise the shit outta my nexus 7, without any restrictions really. Value for money ....

I like the size of the N7; that's why I bought it. I have an iPad3 if I want to use a bigger tablet.
-
Would like one, but they're bloody expensive.
