Title: xfer files from N7 to generic mp3 player?
Post by: ppearce43 on November 02, 2012, 09:59:57 AM
Is it possible?
I have some podcasts that I downloaded to my N7 via doggcatcher, but I want to listen to them on my Samsung MP3 player.  How can I do that? No Bluetooth.
Thanks.

If you are rooted, you might be able to use Stickmount and ES File Explorer to mount the player as a generic usb storage to copy over the files. I think it will depend on the storage format of the player.

^^^ The only direct way to do it, using a USB-OTG adapter.

Otherwise, you can do it indirectly.  You can cable your N7 and MP3 player as storage devices to a computer, and use the computer to transfer the files from the N7 to the MP3 player.
