Title: Android 4. 2 coming to the Nexus 7
Post by: birdastrompgman on November 02, 2012, 11:28:06 PM
Babyface will probably put up a neat page, but until then, here's the scoop  (http://campuslife.asus.com/index/9427/android-4-2-headed-to-the-nexus-7/) about 4.1.2's features. Miracast sounds like a winner.

I shiver at the thought of multiple users on my tablet. That is like someone drinking right out of the milk container. A man's Nexus is sacred. I guess it will be a good feature for kids.

I hope apps can be shared, multiple instances of the same app will eat memory.
Netgear  has the first miracast TV interface already.

Yes, this has been worrying me for quite a while, in fact. I heard of the new features including multiple users a month ago, but I couldn't help but think this through. The memory would run out on just one game being installed. They should consider using the original data (when the application was first installed) and the only new memory being written would be the saves.
