Title: Review for the NYKO PLAYPAD PRO
Post by: Gunner6101 on November 06, 2012, 10:31:19 AM
Ok I just picked this controller up yesterday and at first glance it very closely resembles the Xbox 360 controller it is very light in weight yet feels very sturdy in the hand. There is a free mapping app in the play store that allows for creating and saving your own game profiles currently there are only a few games with pre determined profiles like GTA 3. I just played a few quick games of mad fingers dead trigger and although it doesn't list this game pad as supported I was able to map the buttons manually and it works great. There is also a switch on it to enable different modes like one to use the app and it is also compatible with ios and supports mouse mode which still has some bugs to work out as the app is still in beta. But the key thing for me was the fact that they stated they are working in conjunction with nvidia to develop more support for tegra 3 devices down the road. I must also mention that I read somewhere this is a game stop exclusive until sometime in February 2013. Any who hope this was helpful
