Title: Lost email ability
Post by: JoeF on November 07, 2012, 01:37:08 PM
I've had my N7 for a week and had set up up Comcast email using the eMAIL APP and was haviing no problem until today when I can no longer connect to the Mail server. Hangs with the message "Couldn't open connection to server" I loaded the K9 email app and tried to connect in it with the same result.  Any Ideas as to what's going on?.   Thx

What is the k9 app? Did you try resetting your email and trying again? Email shouldn't be much of an issue to get rolling.

K9 is a very popular 3rd party Android email application or client, I did use it in my X10i but I'm quite happy with the email apps on my S2 and N7. Had far more customization than the stick email client.

Usually as bjs has said and authorization error means the password or keyphrase it incorrect, so I would also suggest reviving the account and resetting it up.
