Title: New to Andriod Devices

Just wanted to say 'hello'. The Nexus 7 is my first android device. I also have the Kindle Fire HD, which my husband bought me. I was somewhat disappointed by it being so locked down to Amazon. I bought my husband a Nexus 7 then stared with envious eyes until he bought me one to! I have a terrible addiction to technology! ;D

Welcome SnowWight!   Yes, I get that 'stare of envy' regarding my Nexus  7 all the time from Amazon and iOS users when they see all the cool stuff you can do with it since it's not 'locked down'.  Welcome to the forum!
