I think if i had more Linux experience, I'd be right on top of that. I've built PCs from the ground up, but running a virtual machine inside windows is the extent of my experience with the penguin.

just waiting for ubuntu to be tested a bit more before i port onto my 7. still a bit wary especially about removing ubuntu and any problems that might occur. not my favourite distro but it did put me on the linux path 1st.

There has been a lot of development recently for a multi-boot system for the N7. This would allow one to run Ubuntu any flavor of android with a simple reboot. Im going to give it a shot.
