Title: Chrome extension on nexus7
Post by: drtaing on November 10, 2012, 04:17:39 AM
I would like to get the definition of a word on any web page just tapping (not opening another tab). This useful  extension is available on desktop Chrome but not on Nexus7 chrome. Whenever I tap a word, it is highlighted and click share icon. Then what appear is an array of icons such as print, and Google translation. Apple i-Pads and i-Phones (OS6) has this word definition extension (automatically attached to the chrome browser). Let's get fix this issue.

??? When you tap on a word in mobile Chrome, one of the choices is web search.. Set it up to always use Google in Chrome, and it's a one touch process using the same tab, just what you described.

I have to hold my finger on the word for the toolbar to appear. Web search is one of the options but I believe the menu is limited as to the mobile version of Chrome.
Now I see.. You need to choose share in the text selection menu and then you have your list of more options.
