Did every recommended setting to try and fix the 4.2 update.  Helped me with most issues.  Thanks!    Still when I turn it on Google Now does not pop up with any cards.   I still feel that the tablet is not as responsive with the update but passable.  Seems the screen rotation is slower.  Still disappointing  as now I would no longer hand the nexus 7 to a person and tell them check this out, I think you'll like it.   Hopefully google pushes an update soon.
