Title: nexus know how

Hi ,New to the forum and the world of tablets. jut got a tablet for my daughter for xmas and was trying to put some stuff on it , music and apps etc. However i noticed that There is  a download history icons for each app at the top of the screen like little triangles , is there a way to clear these. I have also put on music from the laptop, but the carousel feature does'nt appear to be working, is there a setting  need to change.

Swipe the notification bar down, and tap the 3bar slanted icon. That will clear the notification history.

Welcome to the forum ed. I am not sure what carousel feature you are talking about.
