Title: INTRODUCTION
Post by: iamuncopyrightable on November 22, 2012, 01:13:25 PM
Garsh, I hope this widgt has spell-check...

Long time Google fan, newbie Nexus 7 owner... my first foray into smart handhelds.... and I am lost.

Read and re-read the 7 manual.  Not much help as the assumption is that I should know terminologies and file systems protocols.

Sofar I have not been able to find how-to about Bluetooth in as Mic or any information on setting up 7 for Nuaces DNS (which is the basis for buying the 7... that and as a day-minder/planner)

Searching for Nuance or Dragon Natural Speaking brings up nothing.

So, if my 'forum-life' here grows into anything like my other forum-lifes ...

Thank is advance!

Hi iamuncopyrightabl,

Welcome to the Nexus 7 forms.

Here is a link to Nuances website (http://www.nuance.com/), unfortunately I don't think DNS is available on Android devices, they do have a couple of applications available that can be found on the website including Dragon Mobile Assistant, Dragon Go, Paperport, Swype etc.

There is Dragon Remote Microphone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nuance.com) available on Google Play but I don't think it's developed by Nuance and whether it's of any help or not...

Google voice typing does a very good job. It makes Dragon somewhat of a redundancy. The voice typing is built into the keyboard and search functions. Dragon Go can be configured to navigate the device of desired.
