Title: What is the first 'accessory' you bought for your Nexus 7?
Post by: Babyfacemagee on November 23, 2012, 11:51:07 AM
What is the first 'accessory' you bought for your Nexus 7?  Let us know what you bought...and why, as well as if you're happy with your purchase.

I bought a TPU skin. Fit great, but the extra little size it added prevented me from putting it into my coat pocket. Great for minimalist protection.

I was going to say OTG cable but realized that I already had that from my S2 so it must have been my Cruzerlite Androidified Clone Army case.

Kingston 32GB Wi Drive and OTG
I think I ordered the OTG first but couldn't wait for space so I  bought the drive before the cable arrived. Chicken or the egg?

Leather case off eBay for $14.95. The best investment so far. BTW, I mean Real Leather.

That sounds very nice.
My dog would think my machine is a big piece of jerky.

PU leather is real leather, and may be labeled " genuine leather" but quality is not taken into account.

I voted for the case - The MOFRED case from Amazon is good and cheap too.  However, I did buy an OTG cable at the same time but can't vote for both.

I bought the Poetic Slimline Portfolio case in lime green, from Amazon.  I love it.  Fits perfectly, doesn't add much bulk, only $14.95.  Comes in 8 colors.

My wife and I both bought the SNUGG case. Really, really good. Bought another one from the UK (the China detachment) before these and they were utter crap.

Screen protector.  I had a "pouch" from a previous tablet that is still getting me by.  Hadn't decided if I was going to keep the 7 or opt for 7.2 so I didn't want to commit to a custom case that didn't have a cutout for a rear camera, or a full size SD card, or HDMI output, or DVI, or a SCSI interface, or a PS2 plug, or .. .. ..
