Just got my Nexus 7-- I've rooted several phones and my Toshiba Thrive, but I've never run into this problem before. I'm trying to enable debugging, but when I pull down the Settings, there's no developer options listed at the bottom for me to be able to access debugging. Is there anyplace else it would be hiding?
Seems kind of wierd to not be able to locate it...

You should have done a search. Settings > About tablet. Tap the build number 7 times to turn on developer options. Then back out, select developer options, and enable usb debugging.

Thanks, got it...
Rather interesting way to hide it.

I guess unless you know what you are doing, you don't belong in the developer options anyway. Keeps the average user from poking around.

Thanks z. Right on point. Could you do us all a favor and turn your caps off. I don't want to come off as rude and I am sure you are not doing it intentionally but I have to say all capital letters can be distracting to folks.
Thanks again for your advice pertaining to the thread. Dead on.
