I am almost there as a man of advancing years in getting my Nexus set up for me to use.
Last question relates to films I buy from google play. I still cant get them to play unless I am in wi fi contact with my Nexus. Told this is because I am streaming the films and have not downloaded them. Was told to pin them to my machine but dont know what this means or how to do it .
Can someone please be extremely kind and tell me how to pin downloaded films from google play onto my nexus

You should see a little push pin. It looks like one of those colored plastic thumb tacks. Tap that and it will download your movie to the Nexus.
