Hi, I have downloaded the Aldiko ebook reader to my nexus 7. However, adobe digital editions, on my computer, will not 'see' it. Any suggestions.

What is it that you are trying to see from your computer?

If I remember correctly, the computer based Adobe Digital Editions allows you to manage the content on your eReader when connected to your computer by a USB interface. If I am correct and your Nexus 7 is not recognized as a managed device, then I suspect that the issue is that the Nexus 7 connects by Windows MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) rather that by Windows File Management (used by most eReaders). Calibre suffers from the same issue, so their work around is to convert to the desired format and then to "Copy and Paste" from your computer to your Nexus 7.

Try to enable USB debugging. Go to settings >about tablet > android version. Click on this 7 or 8 times. Then go to settings > developer options > enable USB debugging.
