Title: Anyone Familiar With Google Play Music App?
Post by: radiocycle on December 02, 2012, 01:43:12 PM
So I've put a few tunes on the Google Play Music app and although it plays just fine, it's really got me guessin'.  What I mean is, now when I look for one of my tunes, it looks like all of my music album covers are all over the place.  Multiple copies of the same cover art but with all different artists.  It's like the graphical part of the interface is totally bananas! I didn't tell it to put all of my music in a Jerry Lee Lewis album covers! (at least I didn't mean to tell it to, if I did)

It just doesn't seem very 'user-friendly' but then maybe I just don't know how to go about adding my music.  And, now that I've got it all messed up, how can I fix it?  Any of you guys that use this program and have it all figured out??

I use it and have had a few similar issues.

It can take a while for Google Music server to sort itself out.

If you are still having issues, delete music from My Music on website, re-point Music Manager (on your PC) to a non-Music location, close and restart Music Manager and then point it back to correct music location.

It will then re-add your "missing" music and hopefully catalog it correctly.

Part of the organization depends on the id3 tags of the music. Google play purchased music has several categories that music its organized by. The app tries top organizer your music song those guidelines. If the id3 tag is not complete, then three music might bit be organized top your liking.

Anyone know a good application for creating and editing id3 tags?
