Jayjs advice should get you going. If not,
I thought I read something about plugging into a computer and then pulling the cord when having the charging issue.

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried everything.
Pushing power for minutes, volume down and power for decades  ::), but nothing.
Also while coupled to PC no interaction at all.
Try to find kind fellow Nexus 7 user to use the battery.

But  RIP for my precious i guess.

@Jacob1900

bjs229's suggestion has reportedly worked if you have some start up activity that freezes. The procedure is the connect the tablet to your PC by the usb cable and then power on the Nexus 7. Before the start up freeze you pull the usb cable and then press and hold the power button on the Nexus 7 until it shuts down. Then connect the Nexus 7 to a charger and try for a normal start up.

If you have no start up activity, it is time for an RMA.

Good Luck and keep us posted.
