Title: email problem on Nexus 7
Post by: kennron on December 05, 2012, 10:27:42 AM
Hi:  I sometimes note that email I send from my Nexus is received as attachments that have to be opened by the receiver?  Can anybody tell me why this occurs and how to avoid this?  Also, sometimes if I'm replying to an email, the receiver only sees my response, not the original email... the email string is broken.  How can I avoid this and keep the string intact?

Hi Ken
If i may ask, What app are you using to send email? It might be something that is in the settings of the app.

Hi:  I am unable to keep the string of emails whether I use gmail or aol... when I respond to an email and then go to my sent folder, only the email I sent is seen, not the one I responded to.

It sounds like you are using a browser to view and send email. Possibly Chrome? I can't be sure without you letting me know. What app or apps are you using for email.

If you are using the gmail app..sent strings only show what you wrote unless you hit the quotes text link.

Again, it is helpful to know whether you are using your browser or an app.  In both cases, you have to expand the message thread. Let us know how you are viewing your emails and we can direct you how to do this.
