Hi all,
Just got my Nexus 7 yesterday. Last night, while in bed, I had the screen brightness at zero, but while reading a book or looking at webpages that were white, it looked like my screen was flickering (very subtle, but got annoying after a while). What's going on with that? Should I be returning my Nexus to google?
Thanks!

Try cancelling AUTO screen brightness. Worked for me.

Test your new Nexus 7 in multiple light environments with auto brightness on and off and if the flicker continues follow CBers suggestion and seek a replacement.

Googleing it, seems like it's a common problem due to wifi pulling power from the screen. People said the rma'd it and got a new unit with the same problems and that 4.2.1 made it worse. Guess ill livewith it. Thanks all!

I have seen a light flicker under low light conditions on two units now. It only happens occasionally, and I have learned to ignore it. Some people claim it happens continuously, that would be a problem.

I also see my screen flicker occasionally. My light is not set to automatic.
