Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone outside the USA who ordered from Google Play have had devices dispatched yet?
I ordered on the 27th and still nothing.

I ordered in the UK on 3rd July. I have rang Google twice and been told different things both times. First I was told that the N7 would arrive early this week, then I was told it would be at the end of the week. I'm not impressed with the level of customer service from Google. I don't mind waiting. It not knowing that's bothering me.

I'm in Canada, ordered it on June 28th, not shipped yet, but... last night Google tried to charge my credit card for it, and failed as it had expired just days beforehand, though I had added the new replacement card to Google Play and obviously Google has added no algorithm to alert users of when their cards expire nor of defaulting to other cards on the same account.
Anyway, if they tried to charge the card, it was because they probably aim to ship them very soon. I just hope my g****mn credit card didn't bump me off to the end of the wait list.

In Toronto, Canada. Ordered June 27th, 11:30am EDT. No email, tracking number or CC charge. Staples beside me had one on Saturday when I walked in the door randomly. Should have got it but didn't want the hassle of returning it.

Has anyone in the UK heard anything yet? There has been reports of credit cards being charged in the last 24 hours and some have even reported deliveries. Unfortunately it appears that they are not being processed in the order they were pre-ordered.

Received notification that the N7 was on its way but nothing is updated on the UPS site from 22:00 yesterday.

Thanks for contacting us- if you’ve already received your Nexus 7, then please disregard this message. First of all, I wanted to apologize for our delayed response. We’ve had incredible demand for Nexus 7, and we’re working on shipping them and answering your questions as quickly as possible. I’m including some information below about when to expect your device.
When your device ships, you’ll receive a notification from Google Play with a shipping tracking number.
All Nexus 7 8GB orders will ship by July 20 (BST), and all Nexus 7 16GB orders placed through June 30 (BST) will ship by July 20 (BST). The remaining Nexus 7 16GB orders will ship next week .
If you placed your order on or before July 13 and you don’t receive your confirmation and device in the timeframe detailed above, please let us know by responding to this email so that we can ensure your order has gone through properly. Thanks for your patience.

Hi, received the shipping confirmation last night at around 16:30 (UK time) and my N7 was delivered today.

OK, I'm raging now. Don't misunderstand me, my Nexus 7 8GB has been shipped and is on the way. But the real reason I'm raging is that I have just been in the Staples next to my workplace, and what else did I see but a Nexus 7 16GB on display? If I had not preordered the 8GB from Google, I could have just bought it today (or yesterday... or sooner) for 40$ more than I would have, with a 16GB version instead of the 8GB I bought.
I preordered from Google expecting that we consumers who have opted to buy directly from them would have been treated preferentially and getting the devices sooner than anyone else. Turns out those who just went into retail stores not only didn't have to pay shipping costs, but could get their devices earlier than those who preordered. Why even preorder then? I could just have went to my local Staples and asked them to put a copy aside for me instead, would have been better in the end for me, I would have had it cheaper and earlier.
This is not how you create loyal customers Google.

I ordered it as I thought like most others did that I would get it early. Now I am told that even though the 1-2 weeks has passed it will not be shipped till next week, so could be the week after before I got it. So I have decided to cancel the order. Only problem is I cant get an answer to my E-mails (first 0ne 6 days ago) and when I phone I get a message saying there is little point holding on as they are too busy. What a bloody shambles. Can't get it and can't cancel it.

Just ordered the 16gb N7 from Tesco which is due for delivery tomorrow. Don't know how long they will be in Stock but thought it was worth letting you all know. Fed up of waiting on Google!!!

Google have just charged my card and my order has jumped to the top of the Google play order list. I ordered the 16gb on 3rd July in UK so hopefully everyone else will start to receive their tablets and this nightmare can end!!!

I caution everyone to read online petitions closely to make sure that you are not agreeing to allow them to use your contact information.

Looks like all the 16gb ordered in the UK from the play store are shipping out. I received mine this morning.

Still awaiting delivery of my Google Play order, but will be refusing it as I bought one from eBuyer, and GOOGLE wouldn't cancel the order !!
Should be refused today :)

Out of curiosity, if you refuse your Google Play order, do you incur a restocking fee or shipping fee as described in Google's return policy?

I would hope not.
I refused delivery about an hour ago without it ever coming into my possession and I never opened the parcel.
