Title: Drivers
Post by: xombie on December 10, 2012, 08:11:32 AM
I searched around but couldn't find an answer...I uninstalled the drivers the toolkit said to but when I reboot and connect the N7 it installs its own driver again called "MTB........something" under portable devices...plus there is ADK android under android phones in the device manager...is that what its supposed to say?

Yes you should show one device under Portable Devices and one under Android Phones. Did you remember to turn on USB Debugging?

I accidentally installed PDnet when I installed the usb driver...can I uninstall it safely without affecting unlock and root?...which I did successfully!

Yes I recall seeing a toolkit notice that PDAnet is only needed to install its drivers, & can be removed after the drivers are installed. You can always reinstall it if necessary.
