Title: Rooting my nexus 7 yes or no

Been advised to use a beats audio app for music but it says nexus not rooted should i root it or use another app. if i do need to root it whats the best way to achieve this thanks

What is your goal in using the Beats audio? There's a reason why you need to be rooted in order to use Beats mods.

I don't know if its true or not but I hear that app can be a real PITA.
If you are only rooting for that, I would find another audio eq option.
