Title: Nexus 7 and Flash.
Post by: nodsirrah on December 11, 2012, 02:02:40 PM
I have 2 Dish Hoppers and one Sling Adapter, so I assumed I could watch My TV Everywhere, I found out I did not have Flash on Google Chrome. After hours of Googling I found the xScope Pro Browser ($2.99) has an App for Flash. It works great, or at least it works better than Dish Hopper/Sling Adapter software works as it is very tempermental.
Flash works on 4.2.1 with no N7 modifications.
I am amazed at the Video quality of HD on the H7.

Dolphin browser also supports flash. And I think it's free.

Flash is important to me as well. I used to build sites with action script so I can appreciate the need. Glad you are happy!

What are peep developing with now if not flash?? I must have fallen heavily behind.
Is there something else out there that has actionscript or similar?
Or are they moving away from flash because it has security issues?
I didnt think flash would go away, idk of anything like it for animation
and actionscripting.

Flash or HTML5, but it is quite a controversy if you look at the discussions on the Internet. To me it looks as though HTML is the way of the future and Flash is the link to older browsers that don't support HTML5.

I had thought for a long time that Flash was going to take over the web. Back in theMacromedia days it was a really hot program. I am kind of sad that it pretty much  becoming an afterthought.
