Title: Deleting downloads once seen
Post by: Paul_TT on December 11, 2012, 10:14:35 PM
I have downloaded both cd's and tv programmes onto my nexus 7.

I have now viewed the tv programmes which were loaded to my personal video section of the Nexus. I now wish to delete them . Pressed the item and it changed colour but then no option to delete it . Can anyone be so kind as to advise how I delete items.

Once highlighted you should see a trashcan icon top right, night light whichever videos you want to delete and tap the trashcan icon.

Hope that helps.

As an alternative log into Google on a PC and delete any unwanted content from there, which was the way I had to delete the pre-installed music files, when I originally received my Nexus 7.

I prefer to use the ES File Explorer app to manage files.

I'm not the lowest of the low, but I am the slowest of the slow (49.6 mpg over 38k miles in  Scion xB)

I suggest using a file app like Bird suggested and synching your Nexus with your computer. That way you will have total control of pretty much every byte. If you need further guidance with drivers or what apps to check out. Let us know.
I would Look up ES, or Astro to begin with in the play store.
