Post by: martyh on December 13, 2012, 09:44:00 AM: It appears most of these are designed specifically for *i* devices. I read one review that said it didn't work on the N7 until it was updated to 4.2. So I too would like to hear of your success (or not) with this on the N7.

I can confirm it works. Its a little more than the one matt bought.

i've read few reviews of people complaining about it's durability and about it being dangerous...mine works great, i've been flying with it too. i just got back from usa and it was very usefull

Post by: matt on January 10, 2013, 05:29:43 AM: Mine is working ok. Not sure yet if it is limiting charge rate to 1a as the regular charger does strange things sometimes. One caveat, get a larger capacity. At 5000mah it will give only a partial charge before the two batteries equalize. I managed to get up to 93% charge after discharging the nexus 7 to 15%. Which leads me to believe the battery stats are not scalar, another topic.
