Let us know how it works for you.

Sure will, hopefully it won't be back up to 79$ by then. Just checked, it's gone to 17.99$.

This looks great. Let us know how it works. As always, there are mixed reviews. I would rather go with someone I trust.

It appears most of these are designed specifically for *i* devices. I read one review that said it didn't work on the N7 until it was updated to 4.2. So I too would like to hear of your success (or not) with this on the N7.

I picked up one of these

I can confirm it works. Its a little more than the one matt bought.

i have iSound Portable Power Max, 16000 mah, it works great for my phone!i charge it every week and a half lol it's awesome!
ps
i've read few reviews of people complaining about it's durability and about it being dangerous...mine works great, i've been flying with it too. i just got back from usa and it was very usefull

Mine is working ok. Not sure yet if it is limiting charge rate to 1a as the regular charger does strange things sometimes. One caveat, get a larger capacity. At 5000mah it will give only a partial charge before the two batteries equalize. I managed to get up to 93% charge after discharging the nexus 7 to 15%. Which leads me to believe the battery stats are not scalar, another topic.
