Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and would like to know if you use your nexus 7 for reading books....and if so, what are you reading. I am currently reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Pride and Prejudice. The Nexus makes a for great reader and let me know what you're reading with yours.

George Martin's "Fire and Ice Series" is my current read, but one of my favorites, which I often reread chapters from is "Once a Runner" by John L. Parker.
-
The lost city of Z and any tom Clancy books.
-
'Outliers' by Malcolm Gladwell. Sorta the anti-Ayn Rand. Good read and reaffirms a lot of what I've thought about the support systems that create success.
-
I'm reading the Wheel Of Time series, By Robert Jordan. Since I am still annoyed With Amazon over my experience with the Kindle fire HD, I bought these books from the google play store. I actually like the play books app better than the Kindle app.

Most of my N7 reading is magazine subscriptions: Popular Science, Consumer Reports, The Smithsonian: Just to name a few. I also listen to a lot of audio books on both my N7 and Galaxy Note II.
-
I read a lot in Google currents too.
-
Not really much of a book reader myself, makes me sleepy...lol
I prefer tech news apps like Flipboard, Dribbler, NVision. I read allot of comics on my comiXology app and I just bought my first Magazine on Play Magazines....yes it was an Android magazine... ;)

I read a lot in Google currents too.
We're in agreement on Google Currents. I like it so much that I've uninstalled Flipboard on all of my gear.

I'm 13th & 5th on my county library's waiting list for the 2nd & 3rd books in the Hunger Games trilogy. My library system has 11 ebook licenses for those books, so I hope my wait isn't too long.
I'm not the lowest of the low, but I am the slowest of the slow. 49.6 mpg avg for 38k miles in non-hybrid Scion xB
-
One week later, I'm 3 of 8 for the 2nd book and 3 of 6 for the 3rd book.

I was disappointed to find my library book was an audiobook. I prefer turning pages by myself at my own pace. I finished the book ""Catching Fire," & am 2 of 6 on the wait list for "Mocking Jay."

Mockingjay is available today, and I downloaded it. Unfortunately, it's also an audiobook.
