Title: voice recognition
Post by: sluggomagoo on December 27, 2012, 07:52:22 PM
I turned on the WIFI on my 4g phone the other day so I can WIFI in the car with the Nexus 7. I was using the Google voice recognition and the navigation, I wanted to test it out so I could if I can turn off the GPS on my phone plan. It worked nicely until I deiced to go to 2 maple street. Everytime I said the word "two", it thinks it was "to" :'(. I didn't try the word four but I'm expecting the same results. Anybody know how to work around this?

Try using the command "navigate to." This seems to start a different string of commands.

I started a thread somewhere with a bunch of Google Now commands.  I will look for the link.

Yup that seems to work from the Google Search only. The Maps for mobile Navigation (beta) program still thinks "2" is "to" yet 4 seems to work.
