Title: 4.2.1 update, battery too low?
Post by: Chrispy on January 01, 2013, 07:42:57 PM
Brand new Nexus 7, battery fully charged.

Notifications indicate an Android system update is available, but when I select it I get the message:

"Battery too low to install system update. Wait for battery to charge sufficiently."

I'm not that worried, in view of all the problems apparently associated with the 4.2 update , but I am worried that system updates are going to fail?

Thanks

Chris

Charge your battery to at least 80% and the update will install without the battery prompt.

Sorry if this is too basic of a question but did you try while plugged into the wall?
Reboot and try as well?

Still needs around 15% of a charge to allow a OS upgrade.
