It's the first Friday of the new year folks and to start the first weekend off we're spotlighting a cool racing game called 'Steampunk Racing 3D'. Featuring some really cool original features that differentiate it from the standard 'kart racing' game like steam powered vehicles and a retro-alternative industrial themed world. The graphics and music give it an eery almost 'Brasil, the movie' like feel and the action combines both racing as well as obstacle avoidance and attacking using various weapons your vehicle is equipped with. 'Steampunk Racing 3D' features different cool vehicles to choose from like the 4-Wheel Armored Classic, Heavy Tank Tall Boy, Agile Delivery, 3-Wheel Scarab, Dozenberg, Drag Racer, Zeppelin, Rough Truckin', Brutal Wagon, or the 6-Wheel LG04-Ohzma. Each has its own unique weapons and attributes such as missiles, chain guns, high-speed mines and tar, poison fields, fireballs, drone blimp-bombers, satellite ray beams, chainsaws, and vortex technology and in addition to weapons you can earn or purchase special 'powers' like teleport, force fields and more to add an even more complex to the gameplay. Now the game is free but like many these days offers in-app purchases to proceed faster through the game or unlock certain vehicles or levels sooner. There's optional team gameplay as well featuring up to 6 players. 'Steampunk Racing 3D' is a lot of fun and runs flawlessly on your Nexus 7. Definitely worth the download for some fun gameplay this weekend.
