I used to use itune for the apple products to import files from PC into apple products; i have same question for nexus 7, is there any software or driver for the computer to recognize the nexus 7 so that the files such as movies, music etc. can be imported into my nexus 7 from my windows 8 PC?

i just got my nexus 7 today, there is no software disc coming with this device. i read the website help files and nexus 7 help files, did not see anything related to this import function.  After i connect the nexus 7 with my PC, i did not see any driver installation notice or anything like when i plug in my cellphone or any other device with my PC. Is there anything wrong with my PC or this nexus 7?

Questions: how to get the music from my PC into my nexus? how to get movies from PC into nexus?

Welcome to the forums.  Please do a search in the forums using the search function up top for both of your questions as the answers are already located in other boards.  in particular check out the Nexus 7 connect board about importing files and also check out the Nexus 7 music and movies boards and/or audio visual board.

If you read the onboard manual you will see that you simply connect N7 to W8 with a USB cable.  I have so far put a film and a music CD onto the N7 having first inserted the disc into the W8 dvd drive and copy into W8.  Now move the film or music into the N7

I feel challenged to try W8 + Nexus 7. Thanks for your experience.
