Title: moving files from phone to n7?
Post by: backudog on January 29, 2013, 10:58:16 PM
I don't own a pc (say what?! - rest of the forum) and I use my HTC one x for internet browsing and downloading files. Trouble is the screens a bit tiny and I end up squinting at most books mags comics etc that I have on it. I plan to use the n7 once I got it but need to know if there's a way to transfer movies, pdfs and cbrs from my HTC one x to my n7 without using a pc? Would an app like bump work? I have quite a lot of stuff on it and don't wanna have to download it all again, Any suggestions appreciated.

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct or the Cloud, but I guess that would be counted as downloading again...

The HTC does have a USB port, doesn't it ?  Tried plugging it into the N7 ?  You should be able to xfer files back and forth without any issues once you get the cables connected to the N7.  You will need File Management software to make the mass transfer of files easier.

X-Plore File Manager has a dual pane that might make that easier but there are lots of others.
