Title: XScope Pro
Post by: robbie.k on February 12, 2013, 04:26:58 PM
I've been using Xscope Pro web browser for a long time. I like the home page facility and the button layout. However, since installing it on my N7 I've had a couple of problems. For example, I'm not able to load any images or content from the following website

www.twtd.co.uk (http://www.twtd.co.uk)

Does anyone have a fix or any suggestions?

Many thanks

Rob

You may need to install flash, which you can't get from google play. It doesn't work with chrome, but try it with your browser. You may need to switch to desktop setting.

Link for flash from xda below.

It works for me with Chrome. None of the pictures load for you? Have you tried dumping the cache on the app?

It must be some kind of bug or incompatibility between xScope and the web page because I can't load it either... I get a blue screen, the background image and if I rrsize the page or move to view, it jumps around and acts all flakey...

As bjs said, it loads on Chrome so I'd suggest using that for this specific page.

On a lighter note, an ITFC page? You an Ipswich boy??

I noticed you were from Suffolk... I'm live in Sudbury. I wrote to Gav at TWTD and he was unable to help either. It works fine on SS Note.

I have flash installed too.

Yes mate, was born in Ipswich. Don't live far away though...

It must be some kind of rendering issue on Jelly Bean because it displays the same on my Nexus 4, you could try emailing the xScope developer. Their email address is on the xScope Pro Google Play page.
