Title: Two Nexus 7s on one Google account
Post by: olc on February 18, 2013, 08:20:46 PM
My wife got a Nexus 7 and set it up on a separate Google account. We decided to add my account to her device and delete her original one. So far so good. But if I log into Google Play with my account, which should now have both Nexus 7s appear, there is only one. Looking in the settings on the play store, only one shows up. If I choose to get an app from the play store from the web interface, how will I direct it to one or the other? We don't necessarily want it to go to both.

You can only send to devices that show up in Play Store, but if you have a secondary device setup with your Google Play Store account, go to Play Store/My Apps/All on the secondary device and you will be able to see all of your apps for that account and install from there.

When you log into your Google account from a desktop browser and go the the Play Store, you should be able to click on the My Android Apps tab on the far right. This will display the devices linked top your account and the apps installed on those devices. Do you see two Nexus 7's near the top left?
