Title: Deleting emails
Post by: Aegeri1046 on February 19, 2013, 10:17:51 AM
How can emails be deleted without having to check every message individually, i.e. is there somewhere a function like "select all"? I have a gmail account and 4 other addresses from another provider and have the same issue with all of them.
Incidentally, on my Motorola Razr Max, I have the same problem with gmail but not with the other accounts because they have the "select all" function.
I appreciate any advice on how to solve this annoying issue.

Please try and use our search feature. This question was answered several times. In most cases ,you will need to use a browser for more advanced manipulation of email.

There needs to be a "select all" or "empty folder", especially for the deleted items...

I agree. The Gmail and.some other email apps are missing crucial features.

Thanks for all suggestions. I finally solved the issue by downloading another email app AquaMail Pro which is much more versatile than the Nexus 7 stock app

What's the thing people have with deleting from the trash folder? Gmail deletes after 30 days and most email providers online clients let you set the time before the trash folder is cleared.

I assume "delete all" is not there to save accidental deletion of mail?
