Title: numeric battery strength indicator?
Post by: Sevendipity on July 18, 2012, 10:58:50 AM
Hi,

Just got my N7 yesterday. I'm coming to it from a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, and one thing I like about the latter (or is it ICS?) that the N7 doesn't have is a readily available numeric battery strength indicator. Just touch the system icons at the lower right and it pops up immediately with lots of useful info, including battery strength. In Jellybean you have to go several levels into Settings to get numeric battery strength. Is there any way to get an easily accessible numeric battery strength readout on the N7?

I like Battery Widget myself, but another alternative is to root the device, and pick up a ROM that gives you the ability to add the detail in various locations of the tablet.

To the OP,

The best part about a pure Android ROM is the lack of bloatware and the fact you the user chooses what apps and widgets you add to your device,  it's the whole Android ethos. Made by Google, customized by you.
