I have a wpa-psk protected home wlan. Because the password is very long and complicated I temporarily used wps to connect the nexus 7. Worked fine.
Problem is after leaving the home and connecting with another wlan I discovered on coming home that nexus would not automatically reconnect to my home wlan because itforgot the password. So to reconnect I had to use wps again-which I don't like to do.
Is this normal on the nexus?
Is it possibly because I used wps instead of manually entering the password?
For privacy reasons I do not sync with Google. Won't the nexus 7 remember wlan passwords if I do not sync?
Trying to understand how the nexus works. Thanks for any help.

Additional information:
Discovered that even after I used copy/paste to manually enter the password, nexus wouldn't connect to the home wlan. It will only connect if I use wps.
Maybe that means something. Not useful this way.

We'll continue the troubleshooting in the other thread, for housekeeping purposes.
