Title: Nexus 7 Bundled with MHL Adapter
Post by: dgotang on February 27, 2013, 01:33:23 PM
I just noticed today that Tigerdirect is actually selling a Nexus 7 bundled with a MHL adapter.  I can't figure out why they would do this since the Nexus 7 has no MHL output.  Can anybody else figure the reason for this bundle? :o

This type of MHL (Mobile High definition Link) adapter connects to the tablet's micro usb port and converts the audio and video to HDMI for output through an HDMI port. You also may be required to plug your tablet’s charger into the adapter to supply the needed power. Remember the Nexus 7 does not have a MHL port so the Nexus 7 will not charge while using the adapter. I have not tried one so I can not guarantee that it will work.
