Title: email won't sync
Post by: paxham on February 27, 2013, 09:00:30 PM
O ddly enough my Hotmail account won't sync anymore. I've tried deleting and recreating the account several times but it keeps doing the same thing. If I start my email it just says waiting to sync.  I can get in via chrome and I just installed Aquamail and that works, so I guess my problem is solved but I thought I'd share anyway.

Is this since the new 4.2.2 update?

This started over a month ago. I think my software upgraded just last week.

According to a search, it's  a known issue with the app on every mobile platform.

Have never resolved this.  Been using Aquamail, which I like,  but still see no reason why this doesn't work.

Hard to like something that doesn't work. I believe there are a couple of threads regarding hot mail and the problems and solutions. Have you tried using the built in email app or any others that do work?
