How can I go on FireFox then put the web site on the desk top?
-
One thought might be to bookmark the website and then create a shortcut to the Bookmarks? I have not tried it but it should work.

Apologies, my first post works with Nova Launcher.
For the stock launcher :
Step 1 - Add website to bookmarks
Step 2 - Tap the Apps icon (center of App bar with 6 dots)
Step 3 - Tap widgets at the top of the screen
Step 4 - Swipe left until you see "Bookmarks"
Step 5 - Long press bookmarks and you will be able to drop the bookmark icon on the page of your choice and you will be prompted to select the bookmark that you want to use from the pop-up list.
